I am pleased to announce that we have now partnered with Bloomfields Horseboxes, based in Worksop, Nottinghamshire.
Established in 2005 by the current founder, Dean Moody, Bloomfields started making its fist horseboxes in 2007. After demand increased hugely, they expanded into their first industrial unit and in 2012 they had 3 units which were being used for the conversion of light commercial vehicles.
Fast forward to 2024, Bloomfields are a world wide recognised brand, supply their horseboxes to a number of arena's in the horse world
From racehorse trainers, equestrian riders, veterinary centres, bloodstock agents and many others, they have a horsebox for every requirement.
Eurocar Group have an enviable reputation of exceptional customers service built up over 25 years in the leasing industry. For a business like ours to partner with a horsebox convertor, we had to ensure a number of factors were all met.
As you can appreciate, when transporting a live animal and normally a very expensive one at that, you need to ensure that safety is paramount for both the horse and also the driver / passengers.
One of the biggest factors for us when we made our choice, was Bloomfields partner with one of the biggest commercial vehicle manufacturers in Europe - Stellantis
Stellantis are the business behind some of the best known UK commercial brands including Citroen, Fiat and Peugeot and they have made Bloomfields an approved convertor.
Further adding to this, Bloomfields are the only horsebox convertor in the UK approved by Renault and Iveco directly.
The other side of the convertor world is obtaining correct approval from the government to allow these vehicles to be used on the UK roads. This approval is not east to achieve, however Bloomfields have both a VCA Conformity of Production Certificate and also VCA European Type Approval.
